Worth remembering
Arriving late on Friday
Nothing on the headland is open after dark and the last kitchen stops at nine. Worth having something in the room for the first night rather than relying on finding food.
The coast road
Shorter on the map and slower in practice — single track in places with passing spaces. The inland route is twenty minutes longer and much easier in the dark.
Weather decides the order
The headland walk and the harbour are both weather-dependent. Keep one indoor option per day so a wet morning does not empty the plan.
